THE SYNOPTIC PROBLEM
For the sake of this Bible study project, I am only concerned with the 'Son-of-Man' contradictions in the Gospels since there are other contradictions in the Gospels as well.
One 'Son-of-Man' Gospel says that Jesus is the Son-of-Man and another 'Son-of-Man' Gospel says that he is not the 'Son-of-Man'. This is what I call "THE SON-OF-MAN SYNOPTIC PROBLEM".
One of the 'Son-of-Man' Gospels will make sense and the other 'Son-of-Man' Gospels will not make sense since the one contradicts the other. This means that one point of view is the truth and the other point of view is the untruth.
The 'Interpreters Bible Dictionary', volume 4, page 414 under the subject 'Son-of-Man' says;
Luke 17: 30; speaks of the day when the Son-of-Man is revealed.

The dictionary says of the word 'Synoptic Problem';
The Synoptic Problem concerns the literary relationship (similarities and differences) between the first three gospels of the New Testament.
In other words what the dictionary is saying is; "the Gospels contradict each other."
Now getting back to the previous story of the lady and the beast. Because of these 'Son-of-Man' contradictions in the Gospels, Bible students are forced to choose between one Gospel thread that says that Jesus is the 'Son-of-Man' and
another Gospel thread that says that Jesus is not the 'Son-of-Man'. This causes confusion for those seeking to learn the will of God.
Other passages refer to the transcendent 'Son-of-Man' but do not definitely identify him with Jesus.
In conclusion when referring to Jesus some of the scripture was mistranslated and should have read "I the man, or 'I'. Jesus never directly or openly said that he was the 'Son-of-Man' except in a few cases where it was mistranslated to
make him look like he was the 'Son-of-Man'.
Jesus left it up to his followers to decide if he was, or was not the 'Son-of-Man'. As far as I'm concerned I believe that Jesus is God and not a mere 'Son-of-Man' (no disrespect intended). God (Jesus) doesn't work like that He always
works through men whom he chooses like his disciples. So in the case of the 'Son-of-Man' designation he is referring to someone, other than himself, who will be the 'Son-of-Man'.
Actually Jesus was not really a direct 'Son-of-Man' since he had no earthly father. Joseph was his stepfather and Jesus was not of Joseph's flesh. You would have to go back to Mary's father (Jesus' grandfather) to find the closest fleshly
father of Jesus. Jesus was a man indirectly through his grandfather and through his mother, Mary. Jesus was really the Son-of-God yet he was still a man. He was actually God in the flesh.
With this information that you have just read we can now continue on with this Bible study project.

After this second segment plays do the same thing until you view all the segmentsof this 9 part video. Try and remember the segment you are viewing so you can click on the right segment and keep it in order. I suggest that you write the number of each segmenton that you are watching on a piece of paper so you won't lose track of what segment you are watching. I have put two versions of the video below. The first one is in 9 segments and the second one is the complete video. I suggest that you watch the second video since it is complete and not in 9 segments. If they cancel either one of these videos the other one will hopefully be available. This video is a must see video.
