SWAT teams in America were once only used for life threatening situations to the public at large ... where hostages were being held, and there was 'an armed threat.'
In today's world of increased security at every level, currently 75-80% of SWAT teams are now deployed in force to serve warrants to citizens.
It would seem the cost of training and maintaining these SWAT enforcement teams must be staggering to the American tax payer.
A few months ago, a SWAT team broke into the home of an elderly woman in her 90s in the middle of the night. The elderly woman died as a result of the sudden break-in. And, it turned out the SWAT team had gone to the wrong address. Is there
accountability when such mistakes are made?
It is true, there are 'some situations' where this type of force may be warranted. Have we perhaps crossed that line, however?
I would also like to add ... we have many fine police officers in America ... working toward maintaining 'a balance of power.' As Ghostwolfemoon mentioned in his recent report, a Kansas City Summit of police officers will be meeting, addressing the
concerns of the day for America ... The Republic.
These officers are patriots, defending America and the Constitution for which it stands. The inalienable rights of 'we the people' will also be addressed. We honor these officers and all that they stand for.
It is time for all people to take right action to protect the original tenets upon which this nation was founded.
